We are seeking a skilled andenthusiastic GP to provide maternity cover on a fixed term basis for six months. The successful candidate will join our clinical team and deliverhigh standards of primary care, supporting continuity and quality of servicethroughout the period of cover.
Main duties of the job
* Provide general medical services to registered and temporary patients in line with NHS standards and practice protocols.
* Conduct face-to-face and telephone consultations, with a focus on patient safety, clinical effectiveness, and patient experience.
* Manage a varied clinical caseload including chronic disease management, acute illness, preventive care, and minor injuries.
* Complete clinical administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescriptions, results review and correspondence.
* Maintain accurate, contemporaneous patient records in line with practice policy and professional standards.
* Participate in duty doctor sessions, triage as required and contribute to practice meetings where relevant.

* Full GMC registration with a licence to practise and inclusion on the NHS GP Performers List.
* Experience with SystemOne.
* Interest in quality improvement and patient centred care.
