To provide detailed support and assistance to the Commercial Director, Biogen is looking for an Agri Feedstocks Manager to lead the sourcing and management of agricultural feedstocks across our national network of anaerobic digestion (AD) plants. This is a key role ensuring the continuity, quality, and sustainability of feedstock supply to meet our biomethane production targets.
Agri Feedstock Manager Responsibilities:
* Secure and manage the supply of agricultural feedstocks across Biogen's network of AD plants.
* Build strong relationships with farmers, landowners, and aggregators.
* Oversee delivery schedules and stock levels, ensuring all feedstock meets contractual and quality standards.
* Manage contracts, ensure sustainability compliance, and handle performance reporting.
* Collaborate with site managers and the commercial team to support operational efficiency and business growth.
The successful candidate will have a strong agricultural background, with an understanding of crop nutrition, growing cycles, and their application in biogas systems. They should be commercially savvy, experienced in managing supplier relationships and contracts, and capable of navigating feedstock logistics across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will hold FACTS and BASIS qualifications, and be familiar with ISO and sustainability standards.
This role involves regular travel across the company's national network of AD sites. The base location is flexible, depending on the candidate's home location, with occasional attendance at Head Office. A full UK driving license and willingness to travel nationally are essential.

Job type: Full-time, permanent, 40 hours/week.
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum + car or allowance + bonus.

You may have experience in agricultural supply chain management, crop planning, or working with anaerobic digestion or biogas systems. Relevant roles include Farm Manager, Agricultural Consultant, Feedstock Coordinator, or Contracts Manager within renewable energy, waste management, or Agri-tech sectors.
