Overview
We have embarked on a programme to implement a single Electronic Patient Record (EPR) as part of the NHS digital health ongoing initiative across the Norfolk and Waveney Acute Hospital Collaborative (NWAHC). The collaborative is made up of three acute hospitals in Norfolk and Waveney:
* James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (JPUH)
* Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NNUH)
* The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King\'s Lynn NHS Foundation Trust (QEH)

Responsibilities
* The Lead Digital Health Clinical Safety Officer will play a key role in the implementation of the Trust’s Digital Clinical Safety Strategy, ensuring the effective and efficient use of healthcare associated technologies to support the delivery of high quality and safe patient care.
* The post holder will be responsible for leading and providing expertise on effective clinical risk management of all Digital Health Applications and IT systems ensuring compliance with safety standards, DCB0129 and DCB0160.
* Working in collaboration with colleagues at the James Paget University Hospitals, Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the Lead Clinical Safety Officer will support the development of a shared clinical safety approach, where possible, for all healthcare associated technologies and a clinical risk management plan that will underpin the development and implementation of the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) solution.
* This role is essential to prioritising continuous improvements to the digital culture of the organisation. The post holder will be flexible and adaptable and be able to champion and support the safe implementation of new digital solutions. Applying knowledge and previous experience of implementing strategies to ensure clinical safety of digital systems, the Lead Digital Health Clinical Safety Officer will act as a primary point of contact and escalation.
