Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled data specialist with strong experience in master and reference data management to support data governance/provenance work. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple stakeholders and will possess excellent communication skills to liaise across business and technical teams
Your responsibilities:
* Oversee master and reference data governance to ensure accountability, transparency, and stewardship of master and reference data across NESO.
* Develop, implement, and enforce data governance policies and standards around master and reference data to ensure to data consistency across all business units.
* Oversee change management process to evaluate, approve, and implement changes to master and reference data, ensuring minimal disruption and alignment with business objectives.
* Facilitate engagement sessions and clearly communicate master and reference data-related concepts and requirements to relevant stakeholders.
* Provide training and guidance to NESO staff regarding master and reference data.
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
* 5+ years of hands-on experience in in master and reference data management or governance.
* Good understanding of data governance frameworks and practices.
* Proven ability to manage and engage stakeholders (both technical and non-technical).
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team.
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
* Relevant certifications (e.g. DAMA CDMP).
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
* Experience with data management tools and technologies.
* Experience of Data Lineage
