A collaborative, national award-winning Architectural Practice is looking to appoint a seasoned Senior Architectural Technologist to join their Leeds City centre studio.\n\nThe successful Senior Architectural Technologist with ideally 5-10 years' experience, will assist in the continued growth and profitability of the Practice who employ 60+ staff across five national offices. The team and practice have been accredited to an Investors in People (IIP) Gold standard, rated as the second-highest scoring architecture practice on the IIP international database. They pride themselves on their commitment to Sustainability and Health and Wellbeing, both in design and creating a healthy environment within which to work and for their people to thrive.\n\nThey also have a truly varied and diverse portfolio of project work that is both challenging and design focussed in it's nature, typically our client are known historically for their work in the Education sector, more recently they have successfully diversified into Commercial & Industrial, Healthcare, Leisure & Arts, Residential, Sports / recreational spaces, a number of their projects are also in conservation areas or of a heritage nature.\n\nRole & Responsibilities of the Senior Architectural Technologist\n\nManagement and delivery of the day-to-day technical delivery of projects, working in collaboration with the team.
You must therefore be able to demonstrate strong capabilities across RIBA stages 4-7\nLeading the production of planning and construction drawing packages - drawings, schedules, and specifications.\nLiaising with clients, contractors, consultants, local planning authorities and building control.\nCoordinating work by external consultants and internally with the rest of the team.\nLeading project teams and supporting junior members of staff.Qualifications and Experience for the Senior Architectural Technologist\n\nArchitectural Technologist with circa 7-10 years' experience within Architectural Practice.\nKeen to work on projects from inception to completion (RIBA stages 0-7)\nExtensive experience in preparing planning and working drawing construction packages and good knowledge of UK building regulations, planning policy and quality standards.\nProven design capability, creativity and problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication and project management skills, excellent client facing ability.\nThe majority of our projects are delivered in REVIT therefore knowledge and experience would be advantageous.What is on offer for the Senior Architectural Technologist\n\nThe chance to work at a national Practice with 6 studio locations, with an exciting and diverse range of projects in different sectors.\nAgile flexible working hours.\nEstablished Home Working Policy.\nRewards and incentives.\nRegular functions and events.\nFriendly and inclusive working environment.\nTraining and development opportunities.\nExcellent modern contemporary studio space in Leeds city.Salary depending on experience and negotiable for the right candidate is in the region of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum plus a very generous benefits package.\n\nOn receipt of your application, James Jackson will contact you to discuss this opportunity in full detail.
