Join B&M’s Merchandising team at our Support Centre in Speke, and kick-start your career as an Assistant Merchandiser in our Home category. You'll play a key role in turning product and sales data into smart decisions that keep our shelves stocked and our customers happy.
In this role, you’ll support the Merchandising team by analysing product performance, planning stock, and using data-driven insights to help deliver great results across our stores. This position is office-based, 5 days a week, in Speke.
In this role, your day-to-day will include:
* Helping to forecast sales trends and shape stock decisions to meet customer demand.
* Taking ownership of producing accurate weekly reports that influence business choices.
* Monitoring product availability and managing stock levels across core ranges.
* Creating and managing purchase orders to ensure timely product delivery.
* Partnering with buyers and cross-functional teams to keep processes running smoothly and deliver great results.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A retail and commercial awareness with a genuine interest in product performance.
* The ability to manage multiple projects while staying detail-focused.
* Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams.
* A proactive attitude, enthusiasm to learn, and readiness to develop your career.
This role is an excellent entry-level opportunity, ideal for a graduate who enjoys working with data and numbers. While strong Excel skills would be a bonus, they are not essential as full training will be provided.
