Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coaching and management, with the ability to inspire and motivate individuals to achieve their personal best. This role requires excellent communication skills, a commitment to fostering a positive environment, and the ability to develop tailored training programmes that meet the needs of diverse participants.
Duties
* Develop and implement training sessions that enhance the skills and performance of our U23 and Professional Development Phase players.
* Provide constructive feedback and support to participants, helping them improve their technique and understanding of the sport.
* Organise and lead practice sessions, ensuring that all activities are safe, engaging, and beneficial for skill development.
* Monitor the progress of all our Academy Shadow Players, setting individual goals and tracking their achievements.
* Foster teamwork and sportsmanship among participants, promoting a positive culture within the group.
* Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other stakeholders regarding progress, expectations, and any concerns.
* Stay updated on coaching techniques and strategies to continually enhance personal coaching skills.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in coaching and management is essential.
* UEFA B Licence or working towards.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
* Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in planning and leading the whole of the Academy shadow.
* First aid certification is desirable but not essential; training may be provided.
