If so, The Bodhi Tree Spa wants to hear from you We're a small, yet perfectly formed, award-winning, luxury, affordable Day Spa in Chalfont St. Peter with 2 treatment rooms and hair & nail salons. There's a 5* bistro and fine dining restaurant on-site, indoor heated pool, sauna and a fitness studio, plus free parking on-site.
We'd like to expand our team by taking on a casual receptionist to help cover holidays and other absence. We can't guarantee your hours each week, but we'll aim to plan your work days with you in advance each month. We'll also contact you if we have unexpected absence to cover - to see if you can help. This could turn into more regular hours in the future - if that's what you want.
What we're looking for
So that you can jump in and help us out when we need you, you must have previous experience in a front of house role - ideally within a spa or beauty/nail/hair salon.
You also need to be passionate about spa treatments, able to provide excellent customer service, and comfortable talking to clients about products and services.
We're open 6 days per week - Monday to Saturday between 09:00 and 18:00, including some public holidays.
Key responsibilities
* welcome clients warmly and manage check in
* support clients to have an excellent experience while they're with us
* take payments from clients and manage check out
* sell products and additional services to clients when appropriate
* handle client bookings via phone, email, website chat, and walk-ins
* respond to client emails
* actively work to fill any "white space" in the booking system by calling/emailing clients
* help with general administration and cleaning within the Spa
