About the Role
Are you a warm, kind, and compassionate individual who loves working with children? We're looking for a dedicated Part-Time Lunch time and After-School Care Assistant to join our team.
This is a key role in our school, providing a safe and nurturing environment for our pupils during their lunchtime break and after-school hours. You will be responsible for:
* Lunchtime Supervision (11:00 am - 1:30 pm): Supervising pupils in the dining hall, encouraging positive social interactions, and ensuring their safety and well-being.
* After-School Care (3:00 pm - 6:00 pm): Running our popular "Tea Time Club," which offers a range of supervised activities, including board games, reading time, and a quiet space for homework. You will also provide a complimentary snack and drink.
About You
We're looking for someone who is passionate about children's health and well-being and is committed to providing holistic care. The ideal candidate will have a naturally empathetic approach and genuinely enjoy the company of primary-aged children.
You should have:
* A minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grade C or above), including Maths and English.
* Prior experience in a school environment is desirable.
* The ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with others.
* The flexibility to adapt to the needs of the school.
* Strong organisational skills.
* Experience working in the independent education sector.
