About You
We are looking for someone who brings energy, compassion, and professionalism to the role. The ideal candidate will have:
* A Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent)
* Proven experience in a nursery or early years setting
* A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A sound understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
Key Responsibilities
* Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, sharing insights with parents and carers
* Build strong, supportive relationships with families to enhance children’s learning and wellbeing
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
* Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that respects each child’s cultural and medical needs
* Raise any concerns regarding a child’s welfare with the Nursery Manager, maintaining strict confidentiality
* Adhere to all nursery policies, procedures, and statutory childcare regulations
* Maintain high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
* Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote holistic development
