About the HLTA role
* Lead and cover lessons from Reception to Year 6
* Production of lesson plans and resources to support groups/classes of children
* Working effectively with individual pupils, small groups, and whole classes. Providing support for learning and social and emotional development of children
* Record progress and achievement in lessons and activities, to provide constructive feedback on pupil progress/achievement
* Acting as a role model, promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils within the classroom
* Encourage pupils to interact and work co-operatively with others
What we need from you
* Maths and English GCSE grade A*-C / 9-4 or equivalent
* Higher Level Teaching Assistant Qualification
* Experience of working with young people, particularly those with ASD diagnosis
* Confident to converse with parents, students, and members of the public
