Role scope
This role has a scope of around 15 homes that the successful candidate will take day to day operational responsibility for. You will work closely with the Operations Director to grow and nurture your area, providing leadership for Home Managers and driving and maintaining a culture of excellence across all operational homes in the area.
Responsibilities
* Maintain quality, monitor and improve financial performance where possible and identifying any growth opportunities for new or existing homes in the area.
* Maintain and support positive relationships with commissioners, families and other external stakeholders, to keep them informed on organisational updates and ensure the people we support are receiving the very best care.

Requirements / Qualifications
* The successful candidate will be able to work some evenings and weekends to meet the needs of the business, and some travel will be expected.
* An NVQ5 (minimum) in social care or equivalent is essential.
* Substantial experience in the regional manager role or similar role will be necessary to succeed in this role, including experience in senior management/governance of complex care.
* An understanding of legal framework associated with mental health & forensic governance will also be of benefit.
