Vision for Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary School Teacher to work within a welcoming primary school in the Forest of Dean area, supporting a Year 2 class until the end of the academic year. This Primary School Teacher role offers the opportunity to join a supportive school environment, with the potential for a longer-term placement from September for the right candidate.
We are looking for a committed Primary School Teacher who can build positive relationships with pupils, support learning in the classroom, and create a calm and inclusive environment where children can thrive.
About the Primary School Teacher role:
As a Primary School Teacher, you will:
1. Deliver engaging lessons and classroom activities for a Year 2 class
2. Create a positive and structured classroom environment
3. Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
4. Assess and monitor pupil progress
5. Work closely with teaching staff and school leadership
6. Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management as a Primary School Teacher

What we’re looking for in a Primary School Teacher:
7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
8. Experience teaching within KS1 (Not essential)
9. Strong classroom management skills
10. Passion for primary education and pupil development
11. Reliable, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach
12. Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
