We're a well-established supplier of Workwear, Furniture, Office Supplies, offering everything from workwear to office furniture, stationery and technology. Our clients range from small businesses to large corporate accounts, and we pride ourselves on providing a personalised, efficient service.
We're now looking for a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Administrator to join our team and support continued business growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Customer Interaction and Support: Handle inbound enquiries via phone, email, or in-person regarding product availability, orders, returns and complaints. Ensure resolution within SLA timelines to maintain high satisfaction rates.
* Order Processing and Administration: Process sales orders, generate quotes, update customer contracts and records and coordinate with our warehouse for shipping/delivery of products.
* Administrative Tasks: Manage inventory tracking for product lines, prepare reports on sales trends or customer feedback, and liaise with suppliers/vendors for stock timelines.
* Issue Resolution: Escalate complex issues to sales, logistics or management teams, while documenting all interactions for quality assurance.
* Data Management: Maintain accurate customer databases, analyse service metrics, and contribute to process improvements for better customer experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Experience: Previous experience in a customer service administrative role, preferably in retail/wholesale sectors like office supplies, workwear or furniture. Experience with high-volume order processing and B2B accounts is essential. Have a proven track record in working to strict deadlines.
* Education: HNC/HND level in Business/Office administration or equivalent.
* Technical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel for reporting, Outlook for communication) and CRM software.
* Soft Skills: Excellent verbal/written communication, problem-solving and multitasking abilities. Strong empathy for customer needs, with a focus on positive experiences in fast-paced environments.
Be an excellent team player and negotiator with effective communication skills and able to generate reports to a high standard.
Be determined to success with a positive "can do" attitude and able to engage with staff and customers at all levels.
What We Offer
· £28,000 per annum
· 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday 8:45am – 5pm)
