At Soho House, a Pizza Chef oversees the pizza station from dough stretching and topping to baking and plating. They play a key role in maintaining quality standards and ensuring a smooth, consistent service and is responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of high-quality pizzas using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Y our main responsibility is for demonstrating strong knowledge of dough handling, use of pizza ovens (wood-fired, gas, or electric), and excellent timing. They must be a team player who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, with a passion for high standards and exceptional food presentation. .

Key duties...
Prepare pizza dough from scratch or portion pre-made dough to spec, allowing for correct proofing and consistency
Assemble pizzas efficiently and consistently according to Soho House recipes and presentation standards
Cook pizzas in a pizza oven (wood-fired or gas/electric) while managing multiple orders during service
Ensure the pizza oven is preheated, cleaned, and properly maintained before and after service
Monitor and replenish pizza station mise en place, including toppings, sauces, cheeses, herbs, and condiments
Maintain excellent hygiene and organisation at the pizza station throughout service
Work collaboratively with chefs, porters, and FOH teams to deliver seamless service and exceptional guest experiences
Assist in the preparation of other dishes if required, and support team across kitchen sections as needed
Follow food safety guidelines including temperature logs, labelling, and proper storage of ingredients
Complete daily prep checklists and cleaning duties before and after shifts
What we are looking for...
A successful Pizza Chef for Soho House will ideally have up to 2 years' experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service. You'll be reliable, friendly and happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success.
Minimum 2 years' experience as a pizza chef in a high-volume, quality-focused kitchen or pizzeria
Proven experience working with hand-stretched dough and pizza ovens
Strong knowledge of pizza styles (e.g., Neapolitan, Roman, New York-style)
High attention to detail with a passion for consistency and quality
Strong communication and time-management skills
Valid Food Hygiene/Food Handler Certificate
Must be able to demonstrate competency as outlined in the training schedule and Club School
Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed
Ability to take direction, work in a team environment and autonomously
