Plain Clothed Security Personnel (Store Detective) – Full Time
Locations: Thetford, Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge, Ely, March, Kings Lynn.
Pay rate: £15.45 per hour.
Requirements: A valid UK driving licence. Mileage reimbursement scheme for travel to different sites: 45p per mile up to 5,000 miles and 25p thereafter.
Qualifications
* Valid SIA SG, DS or CP licence is preferred; support can be provided to obtain one.
* Full 5‑year checkable employment/education history required.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Adaptable communication style to meet the needs of different people groups.
* Ability to work in a fast‑moving services business.
* Capability in the use of technology.
* Good attention to detail.
* High enthusiasm and team player.
Responsibilities
* Observe and apprehend persons behaving dishonestly within the agreed legal and safety limits.
* Liaise with local authorities and crime prevention partners to keep up to date with crime trends in the area.
* Work as part of a team where safety is a priority and collaboration drives success.
