SEN Teaching Assistant – WN4 Area (School with Attached Provision) Location: WN4, Greater Manchester Full-time | Term Time Only Start Date: September 2025 or ASAP Up to £95 per day, depending on experience A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in the WN4 area is looking to appoint a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support students across both the mainstream setting and their well-resourced attached provision. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of young people with additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties. The role will involve: Working 1:1 and in small groups to support students with EHCPs Supporting pupils in both classroom and provision-based settings Implementing strategies to promote engagement, learning, and independence Collaborating with SENCOs, teachers, and external professionals The ideal candidate will: Have experience working with children or young people with SEN (school or care settings) Be patient, resilient and adaptable Have a calm and nurturing approach to behaviour and communication Be confident supporting learners with a range of needs and abilities Hold a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one Whether you're an experienced SEN TA or looking to step into a specialist role for the first time, this position offers long-term development within a positive and forward-thinking environment.
