Job Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Provisioning Operative to join our team. Reporting to the Fulfilment Team Leader, this role is crucial for the provisioning, deployment, and recovery of Apple and Android-based handheld devices, label printers, and related accessories for both new and existing customers.
Responsibilities
* Execute daily provisioning and deployment tasks assigned by the Shift Leader, ensuring high-quality standards are consistently met.
* Provision and configure handheld devices based on specific customer software requirements.
* Manage and input data into an Internet-based asset management system.
* Adhere to strict processes to ensure operational efficiency and quality compliance according to customer needs.
* Perform basic goods-in tasks, including unpacking and checking incoming customer stock.
* Conduct stock control duties, including audits and quality assurance checks.
* Pack, check, and ship orders.
* Maintain the cleanliness of work areas and contribute to a safe working environment for co-workers and visitors.
Essential skills
* Proficiency in IT/computer skills.
* High accuracy and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills.
* Desire to learn and adapt.
* Good standards of written and spoken English.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Desirable Skills
* Understanding of Android or Apple-based handheld devices.
Hours: 40hours per week. Worked 5 days over Monday to Saturday on a rota.
