About the Role
As a Composite Fitter, you will play a key role in producing precision-engineered composite assemblies that meet exacting quality standards. Working from engineering drawings and work instructions, you'll carry out fitting, shaping, trimming, bonding, and assembly of a wide range of components.
You will:
1. Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions.
2. Trim, shape and fit composite parts using hand and power tools.
3. Bond composite components using adhesives, resins and specialist materials.
4. Assemble parts in the correct sequence to ensure alignment, fit and finish.
5. Conduct visual inspections and identify defects or deviations.
6. Follow established quality procedures and health & safety standards.
