Job Title: 1:1 Tutor (Home or School-Based) Location: Daventry and surrounding areas Hours: Flexible, during school hours (typically between 8:30am–3:30pm) Pay: Competitive rates (dependent on experience and qualifications) About the Role: We are seeking dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Tutors to support pupils in the Daventry area. This role involves delivering personalised, one-to-one education in either a pupil’s home or within a school setting, supporting young people who may require additional help or alternative provision outside of mainstream education. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons based on individual learning needs Support pupils with a range of needs, including SEN, SEMH, or those not currently in mainstream education Adapt teaching approaches to suit different abilities and learning styles Build positive and trusting relationships to encourage engagement and confidence Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress Work collaboratively with parents, schools, and other professionals Requirements: Experience working with children or young people (teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or support roles) Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures Ability to plan and deliver flexible, creative lessons Patient, resilient, and nurturing approach Relevant qualifications (teaching, tutoring, or degree-level education preferred but not essential) Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable What We Offer: Flexible working hours to suit your availability A rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a young person’s education Ongoing support from a dedicated team Training and professional development opportunities How to Apply: If you are passionate about helping young people achieve their potential in a 1:1 setting, we would love to hear from you.
