Role Overview
As Hire Manager, you will supervise and coordinate all colleagues in the Hire Department, ensuring a quality service to customers, driving sales, and maintaining tools and plant to health & safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate hire department staff.
* Develop and execute a sales action plan to achieve AOP.
* Ensure effective utilisation of all resources.
* Maintain plant and tools in perfect working order with correct documentation.
* Provide quality customer service and lead the team to exceed sales targets.
Qualifications & Experience
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience in sales, preferably in the hire industry or a similar mechanical/electrical equipment environment.
* Good understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment.
* Willingness to undertake a 12‑month training programme, with a professional qualification awarded upon successful completion.
