The Position
Applications are invited for a Maintenance Shift Fitter to work at our Sarval, Hartshill site. This is a full-time position, working an average of 42 hours per week (12 hours shifts, working days).
As a Maintenance Fitter your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Company's requirements but will include:
1. Day to day maintenance of all plant and machinery.
2. Conduct risk assessments on all jobs before undertaking any work / tasks.
3. To install and maintain new and existing equipment, whilst ensuring production is not interrupted.
4. Assist with conducting hands-on mechanical engineering routines, in accordance with the planned preventative maintenance systems (PPM), to minimise plant downtime, and ensure that the plant operates to the standards laid down in the appropriate legislation.
