JHE & Partners are excited to be working with a brilliant company in the Brighouse area as they look to recruit an experienced Purchase Ledger Controller.
This is a stand alone purchase ledger role, working in a small finance team. Reporting to a friendly, supportive Finance Manager, this is a great opportunity to have a real impact on the business. They are constantly looking for more efficient ways of working and would welcome your ideas on improving processes. With plans to implement a new system, the successful candidate will be involved in that project too, adding another level of interest to this role. The hope is the new system will improve processes and free up some time so that this person might help with other aspects of finance, giving this person progression and development opportunities.
Main duties will include:
* Responsible for the processing of circa 300 invoices per month
* Managing the PO system
* Handling supplier queries in a professional and friendly manner
* Creating payment schedules for management sign off
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Assisting with other aspects of finance when possible
