We are seeking a passionate Technology Change Risk Consultant to join our innovative team in either Edinburgh or Alderley Park. This role offers an opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking company that values creativity and collaboration.
About the Role:
This is a newly created role within the growing Technology and Security Risk Team of Group Risk and Compliance (2nd Line of Defence). As a Technology Change Risk Consultant, you will:
* Advise the Board and senior management on strategic planning and decision-making.
* Oversee and challenge the Group’s strategic and business risk profiles independently.
* Provide formal independent opinions on significant risks.
* Monitor and report on Group-wide risk exposures, ensuring effective risk management.
* Conduct risk-based independent assurance reviews and advisory reviews.
* Facilitate risk management activities across the Group.
* Promote a strong risk culture through communication, education, and training.
* Oversee the resolution of service and technology incidents.
About You:
We seek someone passionate about making a difference, with:
* Deep understanding of technology risk management practices.
* Experience with IT governance frameworks.
* Certifications such as CRISC, CISSP, CGEIT, CISM, Prince2, or ITIL.
* Skills in systems development methodologies like Agile, DevOps, Hybrid, or Waterfall.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently within a highly effective team.
