Redevelopment and Regeneration Manager £480 per day Umbrella (Inside IR35) Initial 9-month contract Hybrid - 2-3 days on site across Brentwood and Rochford (Essex) Closing date: 15th May 2025 Brentwood Borough and Rochford District Councils are seeking two Redevelopment and Regeneration Managers to help drive forward a series of medium-sized, community-focused regeneration schemes. These roles offer a rare opportunity to take the lead on shaping local places - from feasibility through to delivery - working closely with members, internal teams, consultants, and the wider community. What you'll be doing: As a key part of the Assets & Investment Team, you'll manage the end-to-end development process of council-owned land and property projects, including: ·Leading feasibility studies, option appraisals, and business case development ·Co-ordinating site preparation, procurement, and stakeholder consultation ·Managing consultant and contractor performance to ensure on-time delivery ·Supporting acquisitions, disposals, and key planning considerations ·Reporting progress to Senior Managers and Members ·Advising on regeneration strategy and aligning with local priorities To proceed, you'll need: ·UK Resident ·Minimum 3 years' experience leading regeneration/redevelopment projects within the public sector ·A relevant qualification - RICS or similar construction/regeneration-focused accreditation ·Strong working knowledge of feasibility, valuations, RIBA stages, and project delivery ·Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and engage local stakeholders effectively Why join?
