About the Service
You will be joining an established and friendly community-based Surrey-wide child and adolescent eating disorders service, comprising of a Service Manager, Consultants, Nurses, Dietitians, Psychologists, Psychotherapists, Family Therapists and excellent administrative support. We are a high performing, dynamic and supportive team and therefore very able to meet and surpass our local and national clinical targets, whilst still ensuring we put the young people and families at the heart of what we do. The Service is CARE Excellence Accredited.
You will also become a valued member of the wider Nutrition & Dietetic team within the trust. Regular peer supervision with eating disorder dietitians is in place. We provide placements for student dietitians at Surrey University, and you may be involved in supporting and supervising the students along with the rest of the dietetic team.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct multi‑disciplinary assessment and reviews of outpatients.
* Actively involve in the development and implementation of agreed care plans.
* Provide dietetic interventions and care‑coordinate delivery of family‑based interventions (full training provided).
* Lead projects in line with service needs and fully develop clinical skills.
* Provide refeeding dietary advice and feeding regimens in accordance with the MEED Guidelines.
* Support and supervise student dietitians where appropriate.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in paediatrics or eating disorders.
* Confidence in providing refeeding dietary advice and feeding regimens.
* Ability to work within a multi‑disciplinary team and adapt to different clinical settings.
Flexible Working
Applications for flexible working or reduced hours are welcome. The service operates Monday – Friday (flexibly between 8‑6) and we support flexible working arrangements, including job share, part time or other patterns.
