The Role & Requirements As a 1:1 TA, you will be responsible for the daily educational and emotional support of a non-verbal pupil. You will work closely with the Class Teacher and SENDCo to adapt the curriculum and environment to meet the pupil's specific needs. To be successful, you must have: Prior SEN Experience: Proven experience working with children on the Autistic Spectrum. Non-Verbal Communication Knowledge: Experience with communication tools such as PECS, Makaton, or AAC devices is highly desirable but not essential. Commitment: A desire to stay with this pupil as they progress through their primary years is essential.
