About the Role
Audiense is looking for an experienced Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our dynamic sales organization. As a BDR, you will generate a qualified sales pipeline for our Account Executive team through outbound prospecting and collaboration with marketing.
We welcome collaborative and energetic individuals who can contribute to aligned sales and marketing efforts, work in a fast-paced environment, deliver pipeline results, and drive overall sales performance.
Role Availability:
A full-time role based in the United States (Eastern Daylight Time), or a contractor role based in the United Kingdom.
In this role, you’ll work closely with top-performing Account Executives, gaining hands-on experience, live feedback, and sales techniques that accelerate success. New hires who engage directly with the team consistently hit their goals faster and build lasting confidence in their craft.

What You’ll Do
* Generate a pipeline from a variety of channels—outbound, inbound leads, events, and more.
* Leverage sales development best practices through multiple outreach channels, including phone and social media.
* Achieve outreach, meeting schedules, and qualified opportunity targets.
* Provide regular reports on performance and progress of your initiatives, including lead generation and conversion rates.
* Partner with BDR Leadership to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements in the process.
* Leverage AI and emerging technologies to enhance efficiency.
What You Bring
* 1+ years of relevant work experience in sales or recruitment, with a proven track record of success.
* You are self-motivated, driven to achieve targets, and persistent.
* Comfort engaging with potential clients across various mediums—phone, email, social media—with a call-first mentality.
* Strong business acumen and ability to articulate the value of our platform and the problems Buxton solves for customers.
Bonus Points
* Experience in Consumer Analytics
* Experience with the sales tech stack: CRM (Salesforce), Sales Engagement (Salesloft/Gong Engage), Lead Enrichment (ZoomInfo)

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, as we are dedicated to providing a safe and secure work environment for all Buxton stakeholders.
Compensation (U.S. full-time role only)
The estimated on-target earnings (OTE) range for this position is $55,000 – $65,000 annually. This includes base salary and variable sales commission. Compensation is designed to be competitive within the U.S. market and aligned with performance. Actual earnings may vary based on individual achievement relative to sales goals, with uncapped commission potential for top performers. Please note: This OTE applies to candidates hired as full-time employees in the United States; compensation for contractor roles in the United Kingdom will be structured separately.
