We're looking for a dedicated Physics Teacher to join a high-achieving secondary school in the Dorking area of Surrey. This is a great opportunity for a passionate and knowledgeable educator to inspire students with the wonders of the physical world. The school has a strong Science department and a history of excellent student outcomes at all levels.
The Role
The school is seeking a qualified Physics Teacher with proven experience teaching up to A-Level. The ideal candidate will be adept at making complex concepts accessible and engaging for all students. You will be responsible for:
* Delivering high-quality, thought-provoking Physics lessons to students from Key Stage 3 to A-Level.
* Developing and implementing a dynamic curriculum that encourages critical thinking and a love for scientific inquiry.
* Guiding students through practical experiments, data analysis, and problem-solving exercises.
* Mentoring students and providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their full potential in examinations and beyond.
* Collaborating with colleagues to continuously improve the department's resources and teaching strategies.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this rewarding position, you should have:
* A degree in Physics or a related scientific field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE.
* Proven experience teaching Physics at the secondary school level, with a strong ability to teach at A-Level.
* An excellent understanding of the national curriculum and a passion for your subject.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
