As a Document Controller, you will play a vital role in supporting complex nuclear and engineering projects by ensuring information is accurate, secure, and accessible throughout the project lifecycle. Your work will directly support the safe delivery of nationally important infrastructure, helping to maintain the highest standards of compliance and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
* Manage project documentation throughout its full lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance
* Maintain digital and manual document management systems, including version control and secure storage
* Register, track and distribute documents, ensuring all activity is recorded and auditable
* Support audits and ensure documentation meets required authorisation and security standards
* Collaborate with project teams to embed best practice in document control and reporting on documentation performance
This is a full‑time role (37 hours per week) Monday to Friday based either at our Bristol or Warrington, Cheshire sites. Hybrid working arrangements are available with two days, which can be flexible, based on‑site. Travel between the two sites will be expected once a month.
Qualifications
* Demonstrable experience in a Document Controller or similar role
* Experience using an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS)
* Strong computer literacy across common office software
* Ability to manage and report data accurately and in a timely manner
* Strong communication skills with a proactive, collaborative approach
* The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard Baseline Personnel Security (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
