Marmon Lift Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a market leader in platform lift solutions, seeking an experienced Platform Lift Engineer (Service & Callout) to join their growing UK team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified platform lift service engineer specialising in servicing, small repairs, and breakdown callouts, working across a varied portfolio of residential and commercial sites. This role is service-focused only and does not include installation work.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, fault finding, and minor repair of platform lifts across residential and commercial sites throughout the Essex & East London area. This is a mobile service and callout role with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities of a Platform Lift Engineer:

Carry out planned servicing and preventative maintenance on platform lift systems

Attend breakdown callouts and diagnose electrical and mechanical faults
*
Undertake small repair works to return lifts to service safely and efficiently
*
Complete safety checks in line with LOLER and manufacturer guidelines
*
Liaise professionally with customers, building managers, and internal teams on-site
*
Accurately complete service reports, fault sheets, and compliance documentation
*
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping on all sites
Requirements of a Platform Lift Engineer:
*
Proven experience servicing and repairing platform lifts or similar equipment
*
Familiarity with Aritco, Cibes, Motala, Liftup, Barduva, or Extrema (preferred)
*
Minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification in Platform Lifts or Lift Engineering (required)
*
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
*
Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
*
Ability to work independently and manage a service route effectively
*
Customer-focused, professional, and safety-conscious
