We partner with listed companies, advisors, and institutional shareholders to achieve successful outcomes in critical areas like proxy contests, M&A, ESG strategies, and annual general meetings.

As a Client Manager you will build relationships with our clients, helping them to navigate our proxy solicitation services, drive client engagement and be a trusted advocate internally If you have a proven track record of building relationships, driving client engagement and knowledge of the proxy advisory services, or adjacent, industries, then this may be a fit for you

A role you will love

As a Client Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of client projects, from planning to implementation, and reporting. You will be allocated a suite of key AGM accounts from our DACH client base to manage relationships, and the delivery of M&A and Shareholder Activism projects.

You will be expected to retain a book of regular clients and over time expand the services received by each client with the objective of increasing the team's revenues and contributing to the achievement of annual financial targets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and manage client accounts, maintaining and developing existing client base through exceptional service.
2. Ensuring project delivery is effective and is streamlined to ensure cost effective completion in line with managed expectations.
3. Be an SME within proxy services, and process.
4. Collaborate with the Senior Account Managers and Head of Market to instil a consultative and proactive approach for each client.

What will you bring to the role?

To be a successful Client Manager within our Georgeson business you will be experienced in building and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders across DACH companies.

Other key experience includes:

5. Demonstrable experience in stakeholder, and client management.
6. Knowledge of Proxy advisory services, or similar investor engagement industry would be highly beneficial.
7. Experience working within a global organisation and regulated environment.
8. Ideally holding relevant qualifications, e.g. CFA/IMC certificates.
