Clinical Lead – Occupational Therapist

Salary
£50,000 – £60,000 FTE, depending on experience.
Hours & Contract
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm (Term time only); Permanent.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
* HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
* Valid and up‑to‑date professional registration and membership of a professional body (e.g., BPS).
* Minimum 2 years post‑qualification experience in a child/education setting, preferably with management experience.
* Experience working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs.
* Clear and concise report writing related to clinical and research activities.
* Experience providing supervision and supporting a therapy team.
* Ability to work independently and dynamically within a growing clinical service.
* Experience in multi‑professional work with teams or services within the designated specialty preferred.
* Full UK valid driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the in‑house Clinical Team at Dibden Park School.
* Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Regional Clinical Lead.
* Provide bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students with complex profiles (autism, neurodivergence, developmental trauma, SEMH needs).
* Develop and maintain EHCP plan compliance and target‑led therapeutic practice.
* Coordinate line management of onsite clinical team members.
* Lead service development of the school‑based clinical service in partnership with SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.
* Maintain a person‑centred, empowering approach and safeguard culture.
