Job Overview
We are seeking a level 2 skilled non-destructive Testing Technician to join our team. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and reliability in our operations and within the motorsport industry.
Travel to customer sites within the UK and Europe will be required as will limited race support worldwide.
Responsibilities
* Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) using methods such as ultrasonic, eddy current, magnetic particle, and floro dye penetrant testing.
* Analyse test results and prepare detailed reports documenting findings and recommendations.
* Maintain testing equipment and ensure it is calibrated according to industry standards.
* Conduct regular inspections of materials and components to verify compliance with specifications.
* Uphold safety protocols and best practices while performing tests in various environments.
* Assist in training new technicians on NDT procedures and techniques.
* Collaborate with teams to ensure delivery times are met.
Skills
* Knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices related to non destructive testing.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficient in the use of NDT equipment and computer literate.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
* A minimum of level 2 PCN or equivalent is required in at least 2 disciplines.
* Familiarity with industry regulations and standards related to non-destructive testing.
