We are looking for a dedicated QHSE Controller who has an experienced and varied background and is looking to further strengthen and develop their skills within the Quality arena. Essentially, you will report to, and assist the QHSE Systems Co-Ordinator in applying and maintaining the QHSE (Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental) system. Ensuring that the QA process flows are effective and reflect current practice. A “hands on” approach will be necessary as you will undertake, report on and ultimately manage various elements of the Quality Assurance tasks including factory floor patrol auditing. You will assist all departments on conformity concerns and monitor and control the standard of goods entering and leaving the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsibilities Conduct ‘Patrol Audit’ inspections in line with set KPI’s
* Conduct ‘Goods Inwards’ inspections in with company procedures
* Accurately record quarantined goods and assign remedial actions
* Monitor, control and report the total cost to the business of nonconforming products
* Initiate action to prevent re-occurrence of product nonconformity
* Production support - provide QA support for process control
* Promoting QHSE awareness throughout the company focussing on Continual Improvement, Health and Safety, Waste Management and Sustainability
* Provide statistical trend analysis updates on Patrol Inspections, Quarantined Goods and Goods Inwards.
* Be the voice of the QHSE Systems across works operations.
Competency Requirements:
* Excellent attention to detail, with a right first-time mentality.
* Computer literate with a practical knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.).
* Clear and concise communicator.
* Desire to learn
