Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards
* Manage food production processes, ensuring consistency and quality across all meals
* Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to food safety regulations
* Collaborate with the management team to develop innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
* Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
* Ensure that all equipment is maintained in good working order
Experience
* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality environment
* Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management
* Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
* Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications are highly desirable
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
