I am a 92 year old gentleman from Clyne looking for a male personal assistant to support my daily routine.
Purpose
Pick me up half hour before my singing group starts, accompany me to my local singing group and then take me home every Thursday, and provide any additional support required for accessing public toilets.
Responsibilities
* Arrive on time to pick up the gentleman half hour before the singing group starts.
* Accompany him to the singing group each Thursday.
* Drive him home after the event.
* Provide support for accessing public toilets or other day‑to‑day needs.
Essential Qualifications and Characteristics
* Male personal assistant
* Friendly, approachable and caring
* Trustworthy and able to show initiative
* Reliable and punctual
* Respectful of confidentiality
* Treats the gentleman with dignity and respect
* Valid UK driver’s licence and capable of driving the gentleman safely
* Willing to obtain a DBS check if required; cost covered by employer
* Will provide two satisfactory references if requested by the employer
Additional Conditions
* One‑month trial period, followed by up to six months probationary period
* Wages paid on a 4‑weekly or monthly basis once a valid National Insurance number is provided
* Must be eligible to work in the UK and pass employer document checks before commencement
* Entitlements: statutory annual leave and other statutory benefits as per contract
* Issued with a Personal Assistants Handbook upon commencement
* Mandated training identified as relevant to the post will be paid for; failure to attend may lead to withdrawal of the offer
