We’re looking for a Learning & Development Partner to help build a high-performance, learning-driven culture within a leading, billion-pound food group. This is more than a training role—you’ll play a key part in shaping capability, driving performance, and supporting our people to succeed.
The Role
You will partner with leaders across the business to understand capability needs and design learning solutions that drive performance and support business growth.
From delivering engaging training programmes to embedding long-term development strategies, you’ll ensure our teams are skilled, confident, and future-ready.
Key Responsibilities
* Support and deliver the L&D strategy aligned to business objectives
* Partner with managers to identify skills gaps and build capability
* Design and deliver engaging, high-impact learning experiences
* Support and guide on-site training teams where applicable
* Champion development initiatives, including apprenticeships
* Maintain training compliance and ensure accurate, audit-ready records
* Evaluate learning effectiveness and measure impact
* Support the development and optimisation of learning systems (LMS)
About You
You are a proactive and driven L&D professional who understands how to translate learning into business results.
You are confident working with stakeholders at all levels and are comfortable influencing, challenging, and supporting leaders to improve performance through people development.
Skills & Experience
* Experience in a Learning & Development or training role
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to design and deliver effective learning solutions
* Organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities
* Experience working with learning systems and training records
Desirable
* CIPD Level 5 in L&D (or equivalent experience)
* Experience in food manufacturing or fast-paced environments
* Knowledge of apprenticeships and external training providers
* Coaching or mentoring experience
* Experience supporting LMS implementation or improvement
