Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Chard, Somerset

We are recruiting on behalf of a practice in Chard for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is full time for 4 days per week, along with weekends on a rota. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

12. The role offers a varied caseload with a mixture of consultations and surgeries

Team culture
20. The practice has a great team made up of 12 vets, 18 RVNs, 4 SVNs and a supportive non-clinical team
21. They understand the importance of the roles that RVNs play within the practice and actively encourage the development of skills and knowledge whereby the nurses offer nurse clinics where they can advise and educate clients and use their own initiative whilst assisting the vets

About you
25. They are looking for a vet who has a good level of experience both in medicine and surgery

Package
30. Salary: Up to £65, per annum, commensurate to experience
31. Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave, increasing with service and birthday off
32. CPD: Generous allowance of £1, with 40 hours to attend
