* Lead end-to-end delivery of NPD projects, from concept through to production and launch
* Drive structured, gated project delivery in complex engineering or manufacturing environments
* Take full ownership of project performance, including timelines, budgets, risks, and outcomes
* Lead and influence cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and commercial functions
* Engage confidently with senior stakeholders and steering committees, able to challenge, defend, and justify decisions
* Identify and mitigate technical, operational, and commercial risks across the product lifecycle
* Ensure alignment between design intent and manufacturing capability, with a strong focus on Design for Manufacture
* Manage change control, governance, and reporting to ensure successful project outcomes
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience delivering new product development projects from concept to completion
* Background in engineering or manufacturing environments (essential)
* Experience working within highly regulated industries, ideally defence or similar sectors
* Strong leadership presence, able to take ownership and drive delivery in complex settings
* Confident communicator who can handle challenge, push back when needed, and represent the team at senior level
* Solid understanding of project governance, risk management, and financial control
* Experience working with multidisciplinary teams across the full product lifecycle
Additional Requirements
* Willingness to travel regularly to Aberdeen
* Ability to obtain SC-level security clearance
Why This Role Stands Out
This isn’t just another project role. You’ll be at the forefront of developing a cutting-edge product, working in an environment where your leadership, judgement, and ability to deliver truly matter
