The Opportunity:
Under close supervision, responsible for tasks in inventory management (Consumables, chemicals, samples, etc.) and accurate inventory control, processing requests leading to inventory movement on and off site and fulfilling customer metric reporting. Perform inventory management related functions such as monitoring slow moving and dead inventory, conduct cycle counting, yearly physical inventories, and reporting. Provide daily customer service functions and communicates with the customer relative to inventory management.
1. Comply with Company and Statutory regulations relating to safe systems of work and Health & Safety
2. Goods receipt and processing of consumable deliveries from suppliers to include the correct completion of delivery notes and associated paperwork.
3. Manage stock inventory via the Stockboss online database, including picking, packing and delivery consumables requisitions
4. Timely delivery of consumables to in lab Just in Time (JIT), Kanban and POU storage locations
5. Maintain consumable stock levels of in lab Just in Time (JIT), Kanban and POU storage locations to agreed levels in accordance with stock checking and rotation expectations
6. Complete scheduled inspections and pre shift checks of warehouse and vehicle lifting equipment, racking and general areas
7. Use of X ray scanner for inbound post and packages
8. General housekeeping and recycling activities
9. Provide a professional, customer centric service focused on order fulfillment and JIT delivery
