Join us in October 2025 as an Apprentice in our Commercial & Institutional - Commercial Mid Market Team.

What you will do

As a Relationship Management Apprentice within our Commercial & Institutional - Commercial Mid Market Team, you will:

* Liaise with customers and prospective customers, focusing on building sustainable, long-term relationships, and delivering positive customer outcomes.
* Conduct telephone meetings with customers, including service reviews and fraud/security checks. You may also attend face-to-face meetings occasionally.
* Support the management of customer contact strategies through diary planning and booking appointments for Relationship Managers.
* Provide Relationship Managers with well-researched briefs and information for their customer meetings.
* Contribute to risk management to ensure compliance with the Bank's requirements.
* Learn and understand the process of handling a lending request from start to finish and support its management.

* Analyzing and solving problems within regulatory guidelines and company policies.

The skills you will need

We are looking for individuals with a passion for learning, high determination, motivation, and a drive to succeed. You should have strong communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships at all levels.

Additionally, you will need:

* A strong customer focus.
* An innovative and creative mindset.
* Good problem-solving skills, a proactive and inquisitive attitude, and the ability to challenge and propose solutions.
* An analytical, numerate, and logical skillset with adaptability to change.
* Good planning and organizational skills with effective time management.

An Apprenticeship is a development program designed for candidates with little or no qualifications or experience in the subject area. Eligibility

While it is ideal to provide evidence of GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English at grade A-C or Level 4, it is not mandatory to start. If you haven't achieved these grades, we will support your development during the apprenticeship.


Compensation and benefits

You will receive a competitive salary of £25,020 and benefits including protection, healthcare, lifestyle perks, 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, and a monthly retirement contribution.
