Facilities Manager - Kingston upon Thames | WPS

Are you ready to take the next step in your career? Wates Property Services is on the lookout for a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to lead operations across the prestigious JLL account in Kingston upon Thames. This is your chance to join a forward-thinking team dedicated to delivering high-quality hard FM services, driving innovation, and making a real impact in the built environment.

As our Facilities Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our service delivery. You will lead a regional team, manage compliance, and ensure exceptional standards across M&E maintenance, projects, and sustainability initiatives. Your role will be pivotal as a visible and trusted client partner, fostering strong relationships and championing continuous improvement.


What You'll Be Doing:

* Leading and developing a team of supervisors and engineers to deliver hard services and compliance.
* Driving operational excellence through inspections, audits, and performance reviews.
* Managing stakeholder relationships and presenting MI reports at KPI meetings.
* Supporting sustainability goals and contributing to Wates' Net Zero journey.
* Ensuring full compliance with health & safety, statutory regulations, and company policies.
* Identifying and implementing value-add initiatives and energy-saving solutions.


What We're Looking For:

* Proven experience in facilities management, ideally across multi-site portfolios.
* Strong technical background in Electrical, Mechanical, Gas, or F-Gas disciplines.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* IOSH or NEBOSH certification and BIFM qualification (or equivalent) desirable.
* A hands-on approach with a passion for service excellence and team development.
