Difference between BSc and BA
What is the difference between a BSc and BA Business and Management? Both our Business and Management courses offer a strong foundation in core business and managerial functions such as strategic decision-making, sustainable practices, managing people technologies and organisational design as well as the broader societal implications of business and management. The BSc course offers a stronger emphasis on mathematical and data-driven content, designed to appeal to you if you have more quantitative interests, as well as specialist modules which will equip you with practical skills in data interpretation and quantitative analysis. The BSc course is especially suited to you if you are looking for more technical, analytical careers such as business analyst roles, data strategy or roles within the growing field of market intelligence.
Career and employability
Whether you want to reach the top in an organisation, start your own business or make a difference in the voluntary sector, Leicester provides specially designed programmes and activities to support you in gaining the right skills, experiences and exposures you need. Employability is embedded in our courses with a year in industry opportunity. The School of Business has a dedicated Careers Team who work to help you achieve your aspirations.
