The Role This position combines hands-on nursing excellence with team leadership and operational oversight. Working closely with clinical directors and practice leaders, the Senior RVN will: Lead nursing staff : Coordinate workflows, supervise day-to-day operations, and ensure best-in-class inpatient and surgical care Mentor and train : Support student nurses and care assistants, enhancing their clinical growth Maintain standards : Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, infection control, and patient safety across departments Act as client liaison : Ensure pet owners are informed, supported, and confident in the care their pets receive Model professionalism : Represent the team’s values through compassionate service and outstanding nursing practice You’ll also deputise for the Head Nurse during periods of absence, offering an excellent career progression pathway.
