The Care Navigator is to undertake the following key responsibilities in supporting capacity within the administrative team at the surgery these will include: Medical PA ( generating sick notes, medical reports, typing letters and support to the duty doctor) Clinical Coders (read coding letters and summarising records) Medical Secretary ( Referrals, advice and guidance, RIPs) Document processor (processing documents onto our clinical system) Developing to learn in these areas: Admin Assistant ( SARs, Immunisation recalls) Prescribing clerk ( repeat prescriptions, prescription queries) In addition to the primary responsibilities, the care navigator may be requested to work in supporting the recall system which will include: Running monthly reports associated with our recall process Calling patients in for the annual health checks Administrative support with QOF
