Job Title: Quality Controller

gap personnel Gloucester are seeking a Quality Controller to fill a full-time position in Finishing department for one of the definite British shirtmaker companies, creating luxurious shirts and ties in its workrooms.
This role will focus on inspecting and measuring Bespoke and MTM shirts to ensure accuracy and consistency while also meeting our high-quality standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in upholding the reputation of their brand and their Craftsmanship. The ideal candidate will be hardworking and possess a meticulous eye for detail.
Key duties and responsibilities:
* The main duty will be to accurately inspect and measure bespoke and made-to-measure shirts, ensuring that what has been requested on the order form matches what the customer receives.
* Responsible for managing the sending of embroidery to our embroiderers and checking it upon its return.
* Return work to the appropriate supervisors, clearly explaining the issues.
* The successful candidate will report to the Finishing supervisor and work as part of a team to ensure our high-quality standards are maintained.
* He/she will be required to achieve daily production targets with the opportunity to earn a bonus.
Ideal candidate must have and be able:
• A een eye for detail
• Hardworking & efficient
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in garment manufacturing or production line work is a bonus.
Shifts and working hours:
* Monday – Thursday 7.45 – 4.30 and Friday 7.45- 1.30.
Hourly Pay Rates
* £13.20 per hour
Successful candidates will have experience working in similar role, It would suit someone with a fashion knowledge interest.
