We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development professional to step into a newly created role on driving growth within the automotive sector. Our client is expanding their manufacturing presence across the UK and Europe, and they’re looking for someone to help spearhead this effort.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Regional Leadership team and collaborate with the R&D department to help shape and implement growth strategies aligned with innovation and operational goals. This role offers a hands-on approach and would suit someone who enjoys building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering results.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively secure new business across UK and Europe in the Automotive sector.
* Collaborate closely with the European Business Leader, Sales, and R&D teams.
* Identify and define strategic growth areas for Europe.
* Deeply understand and represent our client’s technology to customers.
* Ensure seamless cross-functional communication and execution.
* Travel to customer sites across Europe as needed.
Job requirements:
* Proven sales experience in the automotive sector, especially within Continental OEMs
* Strong market knowledge and forecasting tool proficiency
* A proactive mindset and strategic approach to business development
* Willingness to learn and advocate for their technical solutions.
* Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills
* Valid driving license and passport
