HireGiant are recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers on behalf of a well-established steel and metal distribution company based in Dudley. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for long-term, ongoing work, competitive pay, and weekday-only shifts.
The Role:
As a Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:
* Driving Class 1 (LGV C+E) vehicles with flatbed trailers
* Delivering steel, metal, and construction materials
* Completing local and regional deliveries across the West Midlands
* Securing loads using chains, ratchets, straps, and load restraints
* Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
* Completing PODs, delivery notes, and paperwork accurately
Hours & Pay:
* Monday to Friday only no weekend work
* Start time: 06:00am
* Shift length: 1012 hours per day
* Pay rates:
o £16.90 per hour (PAYE)
o £18.00 per hour (LTD)
* Weekly pay every Friday
To be considered, you must have:
? Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
? Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
? Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience
? Previous flatbed / steel / construction delivery experience
? Confident using chains, straps, ratchets, and load restraints
? No more than 6 points on licence
