Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Welder to join the team at Dyer Engineering. As a Welder, you will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and repair of metal components used in high-profile sectors including rail, automotive, and defence. The Welder will be working primarily with mild steel using a range of welding methods such as MAG, MAG PULSE, GMAW, FCAW, MIG, and TIG. Your daily duties as a Welder will include interpreting technical drawings and welding specifications, preparing materials, performing precise welds, and ensuring all work meets strict quality standards. You’ll also be expected to use a variety of tools and welding machines, ensuring equipment is maintained and operating safely. Safety is paramount. As a Welder, you’ll follow all health and safety procedures and use appropriate PPE while contributing to the team’s high standards and productivity.
